Looking after him is my favourite part of the day.

I’ve always been a dog person, and ever since I was little, I knew I wanted to get involved with Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind. My mom and I agreed to wait until I had finished college. Within half an hour of submitting my final assignment I had signed up for puppy raising and I haven’t looked back since. We were given an adorable golden retriever pup named Ian and looking after him is my favourite part of every day.
