Camino 2023, Via Francigena, Crossing Tuscany.

This 7 night guided walking tour along the Via Francigena path through Tuscany, from San Miniato to Siena, is one of the most popular and spectacular stretches of the Via Francigena, the Italian Camino. During our trip, we will discover no less than four incredible UNESCO World Heritage sites—the historic centres of Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. On this 86km section of the Via Francigena, we will walk through the heart of Tuscany, across beautiful rolling hills, forested valleys and unique architectural sites. There are many wonderful historic towns and villages along the way, from the beautiful walled town of Monteriggioni, to breathtaking San Gimignano, with its soaring tower houses, to magnificent Siena, an historical, artistic, and gastronomic gem, as well as home to one of Italy’s most traditional horse races, the Palio di Siena.
