To celebrate 50 years of Irish Guide Dogs in 2026, we’re launching A City of Tails: a vibrant citywide exhibition and interactive dog trail in Cork city that will both raise vital funds and shine a spotlight on the life-changing work of our service dogs.

How to get involved?
The Dog Trail
We plan to display 50 life-size dogs decorated by businesses, schools, artists, and our clients. These dogs will be located throughout Cork for the first week in August 2026. Each dog will feature:
An unique design by schools, artists, or businesses.
A QR code linking to our clients’ stories and a donation option.
A downloadable worksheet for children to complete with the location of each dog.

Our Ask
Dog Sculpture Sponsorship: €1,000
Decorated by you, our clients or ask an artist.
Promotion as a sponsor on trail maps and online.
Display of the sculpture on the trail with your logo and QR code.
Chance to be part of the official trail route (location dependent).
Be part of the Trail
We are also looking for locations to display the dog sculpture. If you are interested in doing this there is no sponsorship cost involved.
All businesses that support this event will be featured on our 50 year anniversary website and social media channels.
