Yosef

Yosef will need a very active home that can provide plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and ongoing general training.

He is looking for a home where he can be taken on walks, be allowed run free in a large, enclosed garden, and relax on the couch in the evenings. We would like to home Yosef with someone who has the time to spend with him, where there is usually someone at home, as he is a young adolescent dog who may become destructive or anxious.

When over-aroused, he becomes mouthy and will try to jump up and gain the attention of those around him. For this reason, we are looking for a home with no children, where he is with experienced handlers. He could be in a home with another dog, but a resident dog would need a compatibility meeting, as Yosef can still rough-play. We will not be rehoming Yosef in a home with cats.

Although quite strong, he is very good on the lead. 30 minutes of a walk is enough for Yosef as he will lose interest and become overstimulated.

Yosef has been withdrawn from training due to his behavioural issues (mouthing, jumping, and vocal behaviour). He has so much love and potential to offer the right people. He is looking for someone who will see the sweet boy behind all the energy and excitement, someone who is willing to give him the commitment, guidance and affection that he deserves.

We are committed to continuous general training and behaviour support, so ideally Yosef would go to a home in Cork, but other interested applications will be considered further afield.

Personality

Yosef is a very clever, sweet and willing boy who is looking for an experienced and dedicated home where he can really thrive. Yosef will need a very active home that can provide plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and ongoing training.

Yosef can be quite mouthy at times, so his new owners will need to be committed to continuing his general training and helping him learn appropriate ways to channel his excitement and enthusiasm.

Yosef is not yet castrated, so full sign-over will not happen until this is completed at the appropriate age.
