A Guide Dog can help you travel safely and confidently, giving you greater independence at home, at work and in your social life.
More than a mobility aid, guide dogs provide constant support — helping you navigate the world around you while bringing reassurance, confidence and connection. For many people, a Guide Dog opens up opportunities that once felt difficult or out of reach.
Is a Guide Dog right for me?
A Guide Dog may be right for you if you are blind or vision impaired and are looking for greater independence. You’ll need to be willing to take part in training and to care for a dog as part of your daily life, with guidance and support from our team.
We work with people from the age of 16, with no upper age limit. If you’re unsure whether a Guide Dog is the right option for you, that’s completely normal. A conversation with our team can help you explore your options and decide what feels right.
