Labrador
Male
DOB: 10 months old
Yannic has been withdrawn from training for his frustration-based overarousal issues (these include mouthing, jumping and being vocal), as well as separation anxiety. However, Yannic is an extremely lovable boy with so much to offer the right family. With the right match, he will make the perfect companion.
We are committed to continuous training and behaviour support so ideally Yannic would go to a home in Cork, but other interested applications will be considered further afield.

Yannic is a very sensitive, yet sweet and energetic boy who is searching for a dedicated, patient and loving home. He has plenty of energy and will need a family who can provide him with lots of exercise, mental stimulation and ensure his training continues.
Yannic is good on the lead, although he can sometimes pull towards things that catch his interest — he is a curious boy who likes to investigate the world around him!
He can be a little nervous around heavy traffic (buses/trucks) so his new family will need to be patient and understanding while helping him build his confidence. Yannic could live in a town or normal housing estate, but he will benefit from a calm and supportive approach as he settles into his new surroundings.
Yannic is not suitable to live with children, other dogs, or cats and will need a home where his owners are committed to continuing his general training and giving him the structure, exercise and stimulation he needs. He is seeking a home where he can chill out completely and be himself without too much restriction; he loves being allowed up on the couch! We would like to home Yannic where there is almost always someone at home due to his separation anxiety, as he may become destructive or anxious when left alone.
Due to the volume of interest we may not be able to reply to all applications.
