Dogs for Rehoming

Not every dog in our training programme becomes a working dog. Some are withdrawn or retired and need loving new homes.

Not all dogs born and entering our training programmes qualify as working dogs. From time to time, we need to rehome dogs that have been withdrawn from training or retired from working life.

Please Note:

Rehomed dogs may or may not have completed training and are strictly only rehomed as pets and not as Guide or Assistance Dogs. They should not be considered as a support for any child or adult who has additional needs. They also do not have any access rights. Applications will only be accepted through the rehoming form on individual dog profiles.

Eligibility criteria to rehome a dog

Applicant must be over 18.
Our dogs have been used to constant human companionship and living indoors, so they can’t be left alone for more than 4 hours in a 24-hour period. This means if you work full-time outside of the home we won’t be able to match you with a dog.
If you live in a rented property, housing association or council-owned property we’ll need you to provide proof that you’re able to have a dog living in your home.
You must accept responsibility for all future costs in relation to the dog.
You have a fully enclosed garden with walls or fences at a minimum 5ft high or are willing to enclose it.
Your home will need to have a safe and easily accessible area for the dog to toilet.
All children in the home are at least five years of age.
The dog will live inside, day and night, and will get regular exercise.
You are willing to take on medical or behavioural issues.

Nova is a gorgeous, friendly, and playful girl who needs a home where she can live her happiest life. Nova does not have any behavioural issues and is excellent in the home.
