Public Compliance Statement
- We are committed to complying with the Codes of Fundraising Good Practice and have formally discussed and adopted the Codes at a meeting of our Board of Directors.
- We confirm our commitment to the principles set out in the Codes of Fundraising Good Practice. A statement to that effect is included in the annual report.
- We have a Donor Charter which is consistent with the Codes of Fundraising Good Practice.
- We regularly monitor compliance with the Codes of Fundraising Good Practice and compliance reports are received regularly by our Audit, Risk, Compliance & Investment Sub-Committee.
- We consider the Codes of Fundraising Good Practice when planning all fundraising activities.
- We have a policy relating to working with third party fundraisers.
- We provide honest, open and transparent disclosure when fundraising from the public.
- Our Chief Executive Officer is responsible for compliance with the Codes of Fundraising Good Practice.
- We ensure that fundraising staff are provided with information and training on the Codes of Fundraising Good Practice.
- We have a feedback and complaints procedure consistent with the Codes of Fundraising Good Practice. Feedback is recorded for review by relevant staff including the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors. Feedback is responded to promptly and appropriately.
- We prepare financial reports consistent with the requirements of the Charities Act 2009 which include a statement concerning the extent to which control of the organisation is independent of its funding sources.
- We ensure that all donations are tracked and recorded in line with data protection requirements.
- We are accessible to the public through a number of readily available contact options.
