Purpose of Role
Working closely with our Fundraising Team Lead to support our local volunteer fundraising Branches based in the North-West with their events, queries, administrative needs, and volunteer recruitment. These efforts will be in line with targets set for the region.
To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated, a self-starter, organised, structured, and have good people management and customer service skills. You will be required to travel and work outside of normal working hours when attending events, Branch meetings, and other relevant meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and build relationships with Branches and be responsive to their requirements.
- Ensure best practice and our Volunteer Manual is being followed by volunteers.
- Help ensure the success of planned fundraising events, campaigns and projects alongside the Fundraising Team Lead and local Branches.
- Grow Branches and income within the region.
- Grow fundraising opportunities within the region.
- Manage regional volunteer events to achieve growth and positive outcomes.
- Help support volunteer recruitment, training and development for Branches.
- Engage with clients and volunteers to support Branch development.
- Support Branch requirements for social media channels and communications.
- Help develop new fundraising opportunities with local Branches alongside the Fundraising Team Lead.
- Keep accurate data for fundraising activities, Branch volunteers, collection boxes, etc.
