We are pleased to report that we have received word from Jacqui Browne, our friend and crew member of Ireland's yacht 'Cork' which recently ran aground on a submerged reef during the Clipper Round the World yacht race. Jacqui has confirmed that unfortunately, the Cork Clipper could not be saved to re-enter the race. In her correspondence, she confirmed that the experience was difficult and unique, and although currently back in Ireland recovering from a torn ligament in her knee, Jacqui intends to rejoin the race for Leg 7 which leaves from Jamaica in May.
