You can help cover the costs of caring for the pup during its first year through our Co-Sponsor a Pup Scheme, or alternatively, foster a pup by becoming a volunteer Puppy Walker.
Co-sponsor a puppyFor just €250 a year (that's less than €5 a week) you can help support a puppy through the first 12 months of his/ her life while he/she is being trained by one of our volunteer puppy walkers.
As a sponsor, we will keep you informed of your pup's progress on it's journey to becoming a guide or assistance dog. We will send you regular updates and photographs of your chosen pup during this period. Read more.
Puppy Walking is the term we use to describe the vital process of preparing puppies for their future career as a guide dog or an assistant dog.
Walkers are individuals or families who agree to take a pup into their home for a period of approximately 12 months, to rear, socialise and educate the puppy in all aspects of everyday life. The role involves house-training, grooming and basic obedience exercises. Read more.
