Strawberry Hill wins a visit by Roy Keane

Strawberry Hill National School in Ballincollig, Cork, have won the SHADES 2009 lucky draw and won a visit by soccer icon, Roy Keane.

Strawberry Hill Boys National School in Sundays Well, Cork, are the lucky winners of a visit by our patron, soccer icon Roy Keane.  Officiated by PricewaterhouseCoopers, the draw is part of our annual SHADES fundraising campaign that takes place in the first week of May each year. Aside from the overall winner, a further 18 schools from parScholars from Strawberry Hill National School in Ballincollig who have won a visit by Roy Keane ticipating counties across Ireland will each receive a soccer ball signed by Roy.

Seen here are (left to right):  Anne Burns (Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind), David Griffin (PricewaterhouseCoopers), Dave Conway (Garda Recruit), Cláragh O Keeffe and Jade Burke (Loretta Secondary School, Fermoy), Bernadette Healy (Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind) and Labradors Toni and Uxie.
