Just a few days before Election Day, the then Presidential candidate, Michael D. Higgins visited Paddy Power bookmakers in Galway City to place a €1,000 bet on the Presidential Election outcome.
The proceeds of the President Elect’s winning bet will be paid to Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Throughout this year, Paddy Power have worked with us to raise funds through charity bets.  We are delighted to be partnering with them.
