The Next Step is a new training programme offered by Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind for young adults who are blind or vision impaired. It aims to equip people with the skills to manage the transition to life in college or the workplace. The course is practical and supportive with hands on activities aimed at overcoming the challenges which participants are likely to face.

Some Participants from the Next Step Training ProgrammeThe programme is delivered by professional staff with extensive experience of working with young visually impaired people. The course content is tailored to meet the participant’s individual needs. It is delivered in a relaxed, yet focused environment.
