Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind fundraised at the RDS in Dublin on Wednesday, 4th August until Sunday 8th August in support of blind and vision impaired people and families of children with Autism.
Thousands of people attended the world renowned event to view the prestigious horse jumping competitions.
Volunteers, Guide Dog Owners and members of staff assisted with selling of merchandise, raffle tickets and answering queries from the general public throughout the five days.
As anticipated, the guide dogs received the most attention and were at ease despite the large crowds. Guide Dogs Owners were thrilled to answer questions from the public and to allow children meet and even pet their guide dogs.
The event raised approximately €6500 which will be used to fund the provision of our services.
