How your company can sponsor a puppy
We are very lucky to have so many great companies sponsoring our pups. Here are some of the businesses involved with the programme.
Your company can get involved by sponsoring a puppy through their first year ‘Finding their Feet’.
You can sponsor the puppies first two years through to being matched with a Guide Dog Owner or a family of a child with autism, ‘Puppy Power’.
Or you can sponsor the working life of a dog as they ‘Take the Lead’
Finding their feet €5,000
In return for your donation of €5,000 you will be asked to give your puppy a name. You will then receive a framed picture of your puppy and at 6 months you will receive a pupdate. On payment of the €5,000 fee Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind will issue a press release to your local media highlighting the partnership.
Puppy Power €10,000
In return for your donation of €10,000 you are helping to train the puppy over its first two years. You will give your puppy a name and receive a framed photo of the pup. You will receive a pupdate after 6 months along with an update after the first year filling you in on how the puppy has been doing. At 18 months you will learn how the pups training is going and whether they are to become a Guide or Assistance Dog. You will also receive a picture of the dog on his graduation as he goes on his way to become a Guide or Assistance dog. You will also receive targeted PR from Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Take the Lead €38,000
In return for the ultimate gift you a sponsor the working life of the dog. This sponsorship enables you to name the puppy, receive a framed picture of the puppy, receive updates throughout his first two years of training, his graduation information along with a picture. You will also receive PR targeted at your local media and on social media.
Giving a puppy a name is the first step on their journey to become a Guide or Assistance dog. You can help them on this journey by naming a puppy and sponsoring them.
By sponsoring one of our puppies through any of the above stages you are changing a life forever. Our Guide and Assistance dogs go on to offer independence, mobility and confidence, changing the life of a blind or vision impaired person or a family of a child with autism.
