Companion Dog Programme for people with special needs

Profile photograph of a little girl pressing her nose against that of a little labrador puppyWe provide companion dogs to children and adults with special needs or disabilities. The dog provides companionship and can have a therapeutic impact helping to improve the quality of life for the child/adult and his/her family.

A limited number of dogs are available each year.  It is also important to note that companion dogs do not enjoy the same access rights as assistance dogs or guide dogs.

Regrettably, we are not taking any new applications at present due to an extensive waiting list.
